Okay, now that I've eaten more of that awesome microwavable rice stuff and taken a quick nap, I can post this!
Riou and I went to Build-a-Bear a weekend or two ago in New York so we could get our own little one! I'm going to post how we actually got him and then Riou will have more pictures of him.

Little Riou came with us! We took the bus into the city.

Little Brazil Street? Seriously? This must be destiny.

Our little one before being stuffed. We have a lovely story about how he got his name, which I'll get to in a bit.

Other creepy things included MLB mascots Mr. Met and Fredbird.

Everybody said this had to be named 'Endy.' I later found out why when I saw a certain picture of a certain catch in the basement in which we were staying.

Mr. Met slippers? Creepy.

Other baseball things. Little Riou now has a Red Sox jersey. Go figure.

All done! He even has a Brazil shirt! Cool, huh? When it came time to name him, though, we hadn't thought of anything and we got stuck until Riou blurted out the first name he thought of. We ended up calling him Toshihiko after Maekawa. Wow, us. But he's cute, so it's okay!

How adorable is that? Really.

Uhm...what?

Little Riou decided he loved him on the bus!
